Kuje prison attack: Following the incident on Tuesday, it has been reported that over 300 prisoners have fled the Kuje Custodial Centre in the Federal Capital Territory.

Over 300 prisoners fled during the attack by gunmen, according to a jail source who talked to Vanguard under the condition of anonymity.

According to the source, the assailants utilized bombs to seize control of four entry points and exits.

The source claims, “They used GPMGs, bombs, RPGs, and several guns to take control of the Kuje prison over the course of more than 2 hours and 45 minutes.”
